Each print is hand-printed 18 times, using 18 separate layers, to create a stunningly vibrant image that uses Waleska’s flair for colour at it’s absolute best.

Beautiful print editions from Uriel Marin

We’re pleased to present a selection of recent woodcut, aquatints and etchings from the talented Mexican print-maker Uriel Marin part of the Arte Cocodrilo collective. Uriel has produced a magnificent body of new work as a result of his second artists residency in Japan.

One stand-out print, which received an award in Japan was his Ballena (Whale) woodcut – at over a meter wide its an incredible feat of craftsmanship and a simply beautiful result. Uriel sent us some photographs of the woodcut in production.

Equally wonderful are his highly accomplished series of woodcuts using the theme of mandalas with coral and flora..

New Ortiz Originals

We’re happy to announce that we have added a selection of originals to the website by one of our most popular artists – Gustavo Ortiz who hails from Argentina.

Gustavo’s beautiful paper collages have been winning many fans at Affordable Art Fair Bristol, Battersea & Hampstead and wherever else we have shown his work. Influenced by Latin American mythology and craft, Ortiz is constantly innovating and developing his own visual world populated by creatures and figures of own invention brought to life on canvas using intricate paper cuts embalmed in wax, varnish and metallic materials.

Finally we have managed to catalogue a selection of his available work and made them available online to domestic and International clients. Our stock fluctuates as we display his work at fairs so if you are interested to see any recent work that does not appear on the website please get in touch for a full inventory.

New Website, New Fairs, New Work

We’re delighted to be launching our new website at the same time as stunning new work by two of our top artists, Mark Vessey and Waleska Nomura.  Not only that, but we’ll be launching their work at a new fair (for us!), Grand Designs at the Excel Centre in London which runs from 5th to 13th May.

Vessey’s ‘The Face’ edition enters his renowned magazine hall of fame, celebrating this iconic title in the way Vessey does best.  Already proving as immensely popular with his collectors as his Vogue and Playboy editions, The Face is produced in an edition of only 25 in the smaller size, 10 in the larger.

Waleska’s unique piece ’Black Skull’ sold before we could even post it online but do take a look at this wonderful piece and contact us to register interest in her new work.

New Marcos Torres Edition of POW!

We’re more than excited to announce that not only has Marcos Torres finally decided to launch another silkscreen edition, he’s decided to use the opportunity to revisit his famous signature piece, POW!

The original 2005 edition has long sold out, and now, seven years on, Torres feels the time is right for a re-interpretation of the image in a stunning silver and black edition.

Hand-printed in conjunction with one of the finest silkscreen printers in Madrid, we’ll be showing the new POW! for the first time at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea.
